There are three types of variables:
- Independent Variables: What we are changing. (You can only change one thing at a time!)
- Dependent Variables: What we are measuring. (Examples: Length of time, rate of growth, the amount of something you use, etcetera...)
- Controls or Controlled Variables: What we keep the same for comparison and fairness. (Did your independent variable have an impact on your experiment? You need these to compare!!!)
