OH, SMAP!

Yes, you read that correctly. One of the things I will learning about during my trip to NASA JPL is the Soil Moisture Active and Passive satellite or SMAP. Today, we learned a little bit about it's importance, but I know you will all have some great questions for me to ask NASA scientists and engineers, so we can learn even more!
