Hey, hey, hey, Seventh Grade Scientists!
This week we are diving into our unit on Ecology and Environmental Science. Throughout the coming weeks we will be putting together an Interactive Notebook with which we will be exploring some of the basic principles of nature and our planet: biotic and abiotic factors; relationships amongst organisms and their environment; food webs; biomes; and environmental changes over time. It's some pretty fascinating stuff, but in order to get you thinking about the importance of why we need to learn about this, we will start with this National Geographic documentary, Last Stand of the Great Bear.
