Be a Citizen Scientist!

Hello, Seventh Graders!

If you have enjoyed working on Project Squirrel, then perhaps you would like to get outdoors and spend some more time being a citizen scientist. The Wisconsin DNR is looking for your help observing and cataloging some of Wisconsin's organisms, both rare and common, as part of the Wisconsin Natural Heritage Inventory.

Get outside in your yard, go for a hike, visit your local park, and check out all of the great biodiversity Wisconsin has to offer. Use the DNR's biodiversity page to help you identify what you find, and then report those findings to the Natural Heritage Inventory, HERE!

Happy Exploring,
Mrs. Loehe
