It's time for our THIRD (yes, third) unit of the year, and it, my friends, is on BUOYANCY and DENSITY! We already discussed density in class, when we discussed matter and measuring matter, but now we are going to delve further into why things float or sink. We will discover more about water displacement, the density of different materials, and who this one guy, Archimedes, is. IT. WILL. BE. AWESOME! However, if you are not convinced that learning about buoyancy is pretty much one of the coolest things that will ever bestowed upon your brain, perhaps Bill Nye will help convince you otherwise.
