Via Discovery News, your Monday, science news! This first news clip is surely something that speaks to all of us. Whether your are a middle schooler or a middle school teacher, we all have been at blame for something, but have tried to avoid the consequence or convinced ourselves otherwise. Do you think you are honest with yourself when you are to blame for things, or do you find yourself trying to avoid getting in trouble? Looking back, I know I was just as guilty as everyone else, and I know my brain really tried hard to avoid blame. (See, I have a "mean" mom, which turned out to be a good thing, but I really did not want to get in trouble as a kid, so I think my brain worked really hard to pretend it wasn't in the wrong.)
