To Infinity and Beyond

NASA JPL: Day One Log

Hey Baysiders!

Missing you here in sunny California and wishing you could visit here too. The Jet Propulsion Lab is immense and right now they are working on SMAP and RapidScat satellites for their 2013 launch. I also learned about. Variety off other satellites including one made with a 3D printer which was teeny-tiny!

Other highlights of the day include:
 -Touring the JPL laboratories.
 -learning about climate change,
 -exploring scale models,
-speaking with a variety of scientists and engineers from around the world,
 - AND meeting Lavar Burton from Reading Rainbow, who spoke to us about the importance of space
   travel and science literacy!

Soooooooooo cool! Can't wait to show you more, but here is a peek and check out the tweets!
